About Us
Home away from Home Daycare is a home daycare center located on the island of Barbados. It is a small and quiet daycare offering the utmost amazing services for little ones. It has a small ratio of teachers to students and is situated in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. The property has large and safe grounds providing a great area for children to run, play and explore! We believe in promoting the best in childcare and creative play learning environment for your child.

​Our goal is to help parents raise healthy and happy children in a home-like environment. We enable children to progress at their own pace and treat them like our own as we understand the trust placed on us as you leave your child in our care. We focus on boosting their self confidence and allowing them to learn through guidance and precision.

​We believe that daycare should be a positive experience as it is important for any child to have a good start in life. We want your child to be surrounded by a positive and bright attitude from us on a daily basis as we believe it goes a long way. We want the best for your child and we want you to be happy and feel safe and comfortable when your child is left in our care.

We are located at #9 Chelwood, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael. We operate our little daycare in our home on the first floor. it is completely child-friendly and carefully set out. We tend to change the layout from time to time when new ideas pop into our heads in keeping with creativity and spontenaty . We have a schedule that suits your child's age and needs. The schedules give you the relevant information on how your little ones will spend their day. We allow parents to visit and have interviews by appointment only.

Our maximum intake is eight children. We want to give the best that we can to the children we care for and we believe that a smaller group will allow us to form an incredible bond between teacher to student and teacher to parent.

Our Hours
We open our home to your little ones between the hours of 8am to 3pm from Monday to Friday. Parents are allowed to call at anytime if they are interested in information about our daycare.

We offer off-site babysitting
If you need an evening away or a night out during the weekend, there are babysitting services offered after school. These services can be at your home or at ours, its up to you!
Field Trips
Your little one will have the time of their life when they join us on our frequent field trips. We try as much as possible to keep our field trips fun and educational so that we can learn and play at the same time. We give out the notifications for our trips at least a week beforehand so that you will be able to plan and things will run smoothly. We encourage the parents to join us and to share the experience with their child.
